This is what I have been working on

I just thought I would show you what I have been working on for the last few weeks. these are wedding invitations for my sons friend and his fiance. I love the colours Helen has chosen for her wedding and I have tried to match the colour as closely as I could. I am making all the stationery for the wedding and I am really enjoying it.

I am making:
* invitations - finished
* table number - finished
* table plan - started
* menu cards - started

I can share the invitations and table numbers with you as I have finished them. These are the invitations:

Helen decided she wanted the invitations like this with the front cover, then the actual invitation, then a verse about presents and finally a RSVP card.

The table numbers are in the same style as the invitations. Here they are

Helen hasn't actually seen these yet, so you are very honoured to see them before she has.

Recipe for both
* Pearlescent green and ice gold card from Craft Central
* Pearls and Raffia (to bind the invitations) from Ebay
* all the intials and numbers are cut with my Cricut
* the initials are mounted on nesties Labels 1 cut with my Cuttlebug
* the inserts are printed on ice gold paper and the corners are cut with a Martha Stewart punch

I am delivering these to her tomorrow and will let you know what she has said.

A little bit late

Hi everyone

I am slightly late with this post as the challenge over a CRAFT challenge blog actually started yesterday. And the theme is this sketch

I love following a sketch and have done quite a few cards following sketches. This is my attempt of following the sketch.

I have tried to keep the colour scheme to fairly neutral colours. I do love the funky image which was supplied by 'The Stamping Boutique'.

2. Clare - Clare is part of the craft group that I 'run' and she has the patient of a saint cutting out the most intricate decoupage and then making stunning cards with them. Just go and have a look at her blog.
3.Aly - I have not actually met Aly yet, but I think its on the cards. I have got to know Aly through Trimcraft and love all her creations. They are just lovely.
4. Natalie - I have briefly met Natalie at a craft show in Hinckley and like Aly have got to know Natalie through Trimcraft. Her creations are gorgeous.

Look what I have just made

for this weeks challenge over at 'The Poodles Parlour'. The challenge is a Mothers Day Card and I have used a digi image by Lexi, I think she is absolutely gorgeous.

Hopefully my card is ok and I can go to work knowing that I have done an ok job of it. I have taken two photos so you can see the verse properly. Not that it has made any difference as my camera decided to play up over the last few days, so the photos are not that brilliant.

The verse actually says: A Mum holds their child's hand as they start to walk, but holds their heart forever with every happy thought.

Hopefully I have got it right this time

This week on CRAFT Challenge the theme is 'No Designer Paper'. As I made my own background for the last challenge I thought I would try something different. I finally got some embossing folders out to use. I used an embossed background instead of backing papers and made my own flowers. I am really pleased with the outcome.

Not got much time at the moment .....

..... as I am in the middle of a large wedding stationery order so I have just made a few very simple cards. I thought I would share them with you.

I made a bit of a mess

I think I need to explain my mix up.

My last card for GDT for CRAFT challeges is not quite right. The brief was a Valentines card not one without Designer paper. Not sure how I managed to get it completely wrapped round my neck, but I think the card scrapes through for the Valentines challenge but now I will have to get my thinking cap on again on how to make my next card different to the one I made for this week. What a right mess up!!!!!!!

CRAFT challenge

Well its a week ago when I posted my first GDT card over at CRAFT challenge and its time again for another card. I have been so busy trying to think what to do, as the challenge is 'No Designer Papers'. Well after having had my thinking cap on for a while I thought I would stamp my own background, so I masked a border with some low tack masking tape and stamped a few images all over the page to create the illusion that I have used a backing paper and ink dusted some colour on aswell. See what you think.

My first card in a while

Well in September I was offered a GDT spot on the CRAFT challenge blog, I asked for this to be deferred until after Christmas as I was moving house and knew my craft stuff would be a while before I could get it all unpacked. Well the time has come for me to do my month as GDT. My first challenge was to follow a colour combo which included pink, red and orange and after great deliberation I chose the digi image called 'Hippy Chick' from Sassy Studio Designs. I thought she would be perfect to use with the colour combo. Now for the big reveal:

Look what I have found

This is very apt as I have learned lessons the hard way and not just once in the last few years. From now on I will let my head rule rather than my heart. I think trust will need to be earned.

Just a quick update

I was really productive last night and made a few cards, but wont be able to upload them until later on tonight as I am housesitting at my best friend Sylvias house while she is having new windows fitted. Have brought my laptop with me, but its playing up again and I have a feeling that it will have to be sent off again to be looked at as it keeps freezing and the screen keeps going black.

Sylvia and her hubby could not get time off work so I took a days leave to do her a favour. I have to use up my annual leave before I finish in March so this was a good time to take a day. Still got 6 days to take, got some planned already. I have to get my passport renewed and with being an 'alien' I have to go to London to the 'alien embassy' to get my passport sorted. Have got my day in London sorted out already. The embassy is not far from Harrods so I will pop in there and see all the things I cant afford. I will also take a nice stroll through Hyde Park, its just lovely there especially if the weather is nice.

Well I better start my knitting that I have brought with me. Gonna make one of those fancy scarfs. We bought the wool on Saturday.

Positive meeting

Just thought I would share something with you.

I have been to a meeting to see about becoming a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and I am seriously considering it. I know that there will be some initial outlay but at least I would be able to have some income if I dont get a job straight away. What does everyone think???

I love all the Stampin' Up' stash especially their stamps, they are really well cut and the image is pristine. My most favourite stamp sets at the moment is the Lovely as a Trees set and one of the new ones which is called Swirls & Curls verses. I know people think their stash is expensive, but I have bought cheaper and the quality of the cheaper stash is rubbish compared to the Stampn' Up stash.

If I do take it on I think I will be hosting a scheme called 'The Virtual Hostess Club', some demonstrators call it the 'Club 15' or 'Club 25', but I do think 'Virtual Hostess' sounds a bit posher. If anyone is interested in joining just get in touch.

Had some bad news this week

I was given a letter at work on Wednesday regarding redundancy and I am being made redundant as of 31 March 2012. In a way I knew it was on the cards but it was still a bit of a shock to be honest as all along my manager had said that he would try everything to keep me. On Wednesday and Thursday I was really upset about it, but am coming to terms with it finally.

This may give me the chance to get back into serious crafting as I havent felt up to it lately if I am brutally honest. With moving house and having to pack my craft stash away I have lost my mojo a fair bit and really struggled to get back into it. Now I have to look to the future and hope it will give me the kick up the butt that I need.

Enough ranting, I may just go upstairs and see if some of my mojo is up there.

OMG .....

..... I can't believe I have not posted on my blog since 8 November 2011. But in my defence I have not had my laptop for quite some time as I did have a bit of an accident with it and it had to be sent away to be mended. I initially thought there is no way it could be mended but they managed it and all my info is still on it and safe.

Well my New Years Resolution is to get my craft room sorted out so I can get crafting again, as I haven't done any since we have moved. I am gonna get started tomorrow as I have also got to make some samples for a wedding that I have been asked to do all the stationery for. Better get it sorted or I will lose the order.

One thing I thought I would share with you is this

I have been looking to see if I can find a metal sign like it, but no joy. Will keep my eyes open though as I think its great. Feel free to take it, I don't mind.

Just thought I would pop on to let you know how things are going. We have got quite a lot of stuff over at the new house already, including a lot of my craft stash. My new craft room is a lot bigger than the one I have got here at the old house, but I am running out of room already. My sons comment yesterday was ' I know you make a lot of cards, but surely you dont need all of this stuff'. Guess what my answer was!!!!!!

We are having the phone line and internet connection done today so I will be able to pop on over there aswell as the PC is already over there and set up.

We are handing the keys back for this house on Sunday, so I will be rather busy shifting the last load of stuff over and giving the house a quick clean. It wont need too much doing to it which is quite lucky.

Having a break tomorrow though, I am going over to Doncaster for the Stamp Magic craft show with my best friend Sylvia. I know its a bit naughty, but I have spent so much time renovating the other house and moving stuff over I am getting to the stage where I am really tired and need a bit of a break. Have got 3 1/2 days off work next week aswell so I can just about justify going.

..... for being awol at the moment but I have been so so busy trying to get our new house renovated and now we are going to be moving in over the next few weeks. So I will be missing for a while longer.

Some good news though, my sons friend is getting married next year and I have just been asked if I would make the wedding stationery for them. I cant wait to get started, but that wont be until at least the middle of next month.

Will try and keep you up-to-date of how I am getting on with the move.

Back from Ally Pally

Hi everyone

I am back from Ally Pally now and have taken today off work to recover and update you all on my weekend.

Well I got up very early Saturday morning to drive to my best friend Sylvias so we could catch the train to London which is what I already told you about in my earlier post.

Alexandra Palace is just stunning and what it must have been like in its hayday is just not imaginable. It is set in the most fantastic grounds surrounded by parkland and trees. The weather was sooo kind to us, it allowed us to have a picnic each day provided for us by our friends Lynn and Lelli. Anni had made a special journey all the way from Denmark and met us there aswell. We also met up with more friends Christa, Toni, Emily and Lynne . We had a super time and spent quite a few pennies and pounds. This is what I have bought (please don't tell hubby as he thinks I have got more than enough craft stash already)

As you can see I bought quite a bit, I didn't buy the westie though, it's Barney he is a right poser and he tries to get into all the photos that I try and take. I am really pleased with all the stash that I managed to get and have got a few bits that I have not tried before, so you will have to keep your eyes peeled for new creations popping up.

Well all I can do is say thank you to Lynn and Lelli for being such fantastic hosts, keeping us safe and fed and watered and getting us from A to B. You were real stars and I can't wait to meet up again, hopefully up this way.

Ally Pally here we come

Well blogger friends I am off to London for the weekend in the morning to meet up with some friends and to go and spend some of my craft savings at Ally Pally. My best friend Sylvia and me are catching the 8.01am train from Derby to St Pancras and from there we are catching the tube to Wood Green. We are catching one of the courtesy busses from there to Ally Pally where we are meeting up with Lynn, Lelli, Christa and Anni.

Saturday evening we are going out for a meal and then back to Ally Pally on Sunday.

We have been really exited about this and have been counting down the days and we are finally there, just one more sleep tonight.

Well I will let you know what I have bought when I come back.

I couldn't get my DT cards on for the challenge over at CCC with my internet playing up, but as its behaving at the moment I thought I would quickly tell you about it and if the internet lets me upload my DT cards here. I made 3 of them and I was quite upset that I could not upload them so they would be on the site. The challenge this time is Buttons and Bling.

Well we seem to have a connection, but I can't download or upload anything!!!!! Had a right rant at the woman from SKY tonight, I know its not her fault, but who else am I supposed to complain to?!?!?!?!?!

They still can't give us an answer as to what is wrong with it all, she did say they are investigating, but we have not had internet since 30 August, it was fine before we went away and when we came back, nothing. And we have spent the best part of 5 or 6 hours in total on the phone to them. It has an impact on everything, not just my blogs and the DT post I have.

Will keep you up to date with whats happening.

Grrrrrrr Internet

Hi everyone

sorry I haven't been around yet again, not my fault this time though. We have had no home internet since 31st August. Apparently SKY have been trying to sort it out for us. Well I had enough last night when I got home and made a complaint (not sure whether this will have any affect on whether they are going to sort it out though) as we must have spent a good 5 or 6 hours in total on the phone to them and we are no further forward than we were when we first phoned them about it. I have told them last night that we will be cancelling if they do not get their act together. I am absolutely livid with them. I only have my mobile to get online and I do struggle to do things like typing on the touch screen, got fat fingers!!!! lol

I have got loads of cards made, for DT's and others, that I cannot show off to you which makes me mad.

Well I better go and get ready for work. Hope to be back online really soon.

Sorry I haven't been around lately

but I have had one of my blasted migraines again and they completely floor me for a few days. Have been to the doctors yet again and he has put it down to stress. What stress???? He also shouted at me which didn't do any good whatsoever. Well enough of me.

Just found these on my camera ...

... and I thought you may like to see them. I had completely forgotten that I had taken these photos.

This is my fabby best friend Sylvia after her surprise 50th Birthday meal that her daughter Claire had invited us to. We went to a lovely restaurant in Derby where we had fantastic food and lots of drink, no alcohol for me as I was driving, with her family. It was a soooo nice to be part of the family meal.

I took the photos as we were leaving and you can see Sylvia was a bit tied up with her massive balloons.

We had a great night and ended up in a pub in the village where Sylvia lives. Hopefully she will forgive me for sharing these photos with you. Sorry Sylvia!!!!!

Just a quick one to share with you

I was asked on Sunday if I had time to make a birthday card for one of my hubby's friends, and as it was for a special birthday I did say I would try and get it done. It was needed for today, so last night I sat and made this card.

I haven't been around for a few days as I have been rather busy at work and trying to get the other house sorted out. Still got quite a bit to do, but we are getting there. Mainly decorating to do now and then the big move.

My first Lily of the Valley card

A Teepee card order

I took my original teepee card to work last week and was asked by one of the ladies in the office if I would be able to make one for her for her daughter-in-laws birthday. She wanted it with the same backing paper that I had used on the card that I had taken into work.

She absolutely loved it and so do I to be honest.

I have started ...

... making my Christmas cards. I know you probably think 'she has lost it now' but I have got quite a few to make so I thought I would start early.

I have only made some really quick ones and will show more of them later, but I really like this one

I tried to take some photos but they didnt come out at all well so I decided to scan this one. I love the simplicity of this one and it will appeal to both adults and children.

Recipe

* made solely from my stash

* The snowman is made from 2 different size circles which are punched.
* I drew the eyes and mouth and then enhanced it with Glossy Accents.
* I then punched different size snowflakes and used Stickles to make them sparkle.
* The sentiment is stamped and punched with a scalloped oval.
* The card and sentiment have been edged with ink dusters

This one again is from Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps and I have used it and made it into a teepee card that I found over at The Crafty Pad. It looks quite complicated, but believe me its not.

The one is an image from Love To Stamp, our new sponsor, and it is called Nice to meet you. Isn't he just the most adorable little fella.

I did try to take photos from the sides of the cards so you could actually see the depth of the cards but my camera wasn't having any of it. I just couldn't get it right, so more practice for me on that aswell.

All the images have been coloured with my trustee Promarkers and I must say I think I am getting better at this colouring lark, just need to work on the shading a bit.

So very happy - I have won my first ever blog award

I am so happy to receive my first ever blog award from my Sylvia who is my bestest friend. We only met about 3 years ago through an online craft forum Trimcraft and met up at the University of Derby when they hosted a Max Papercraft Show and our friendship has grown and grown and I couldn't wish for a better friend.

No I think I have to tell you 7 facts about me. Sylvia will probably know all of them anyway.

1. I have been married to Rob for the past 31 years now
2. My son and his partner have just added another grandchild Frankie to my list of grandchildren
3. I started crafting (knitting and crochet) when I was only about 8 years old
4. I love spending lots of time with my family and friends
5. I have been successful in securing some funding for the Creative Minds Craft Group and am in the process of applying for some more. GOOD TIMES
6. I am really worried about my son Kim going back to Afghanistan in September
7. I love going away in my caravan or on Spa Days/Weekends

I have finally had time

to upload Frankies card to share with you. I did go round for snuggles earlier as it was near the hairdressers that my best friend Sylvia recommended to me.

I got loads of snuggles in and then went to be pampered and really love what Laura has done with my hair.

Well here is Frankies card for you.

I am sooooo happy

because I have won last weeks challenge at Papertake Weekly with my DT card for Creative Craft Challenges. Its the orange and yellow one about 3 posts down.

I really cant believe it, I have won a £10 voucher to spend at Lily of the Valley. How chuffed am I????? I have been and had a quick look and have so far picked about 10 stamps that I really really like, but now I have to dwindle it down to just 3 or 4. It is going to be hard as I like most of them. Best get started soon as I have itchy palms to spend my voucher!!! lol

We have been to the hospital this afternoon to meet our little, well actually tiny, granddaughter. She is just perfect in every way.

Well the wait is over

Baby Frankie was born at 1.15am weighing 6lbs 11ozs. I can't wait to take her big brother Rory to meet her. But we can't go until 2pm today.

Will have to go and get her a little outfit and a teddy from her big brother and of course finish her card off. We didn't know what Charlotte was having so I hadn't made the card for her.

I will take some photos and share them with you later on.

I just thought I would let all my blog friends know about my exiting news.

My sons girlfriend has gone into labour today. And we are now sat by the phone waiting to hear some news. He already has a son Rory who is 2 with his ex-wife and we are all hoping for a little girl. So please keep your fingers crossed for them, although he has been saying all along that he would love another boy. My best friend Sylvia has offered to swap her if they have a little girl, all he wants for a baby girl is 2 extra large bags of Haribo and a bag of Skittles. He is very easily pleased.

I will let you know once we hear any news.

Whats going on???

Well we are a bit stumped over at Creative Craft Challenges, somehow most of our posts seem to have been deleted for the second time?!?!?!?!?!?

All the posts back to Feb 2010 have been deleted!!!!!! I personally dont think its Blogger playing funny b*****s. But why would someone be so nasty and hack into our blog and just randomly delete posts? Either someone is being very spiteful and wants to ruin our blog or they are just jealous that our challenge blog is doing really really well.

Well whoever or whatever it is thats doing it, flippin well STOP now. As if we find out who or what has done it there will trouble.

New challenge over at Creative Craft Challenges

Well actually it started on Tuesday but I am just a little bit late sharing my DT cards with you.

The challenge is 'Make Your Own Backing Paper'. I made 2 cards for the DT. This one I did make the backing paper myself. I ink dusted purple distress ink all over a sheet of A4 copy paper and then used stamps in different colours to add to the effect.

The image I used is called 'Smell the flowers' from Some Odd Girl. I just love their digis.

The next card was made with stamps from Rainbow Studios. This time the image was stamped by one of the other DT's and sent to us. The card blank is from Which Craft. The stamps were free on a Creativity Magazine.

Have been to .....

.....Heanor Festival today with my best friend Sylvia and Jess, who are members of the Creative Minds Craft Group to advertise for some new members.

We had a really good day in the blazing sunshine, luckily my hubby Rob did bring us the gazebo so we had at least a little bit of shelter. We met quite a few people and hope that someone will join our merry band of crafters.

I am going to have some dinner and then get some crafting done, not done any for a little while as we are in the process of renovating a house to move into and I am spending a fair bit of time there decorating and doing other bits and pieces. But I miss my crafting so will do a bit each night to share on here.

Long time no see

I have neglected my blog for a week or so, I haven't been very well and not been able to do much. But I think I am getting better and have made a few cards. I cant share them all with you just yet, but I will eventually.

Well I made this card for our grandaughter Abby who was 5 yesterday. When you look at her she is very angelic, but when is bad she is a little witch. My best friend Sylvia will not believe it, but she has not seen her in action so far. Well this is the card I made for her and she loved it. She loves anything to do with princesses and fairy castles.

The hungry caterpillar

Actually I am not sure whether the caterpillar on my card is hungry.

I saw this in one of my magazines and fell in love with it, so I have made my own version which I am sharing with you now. I have made two cards the same apart from the sentiment. Simple but effective dont you think??

Guess where I went yesterday???

the best craft show, Stamp Magic in Doncaster. I went with my friends Sylvia and Sandra. We had a fantastic day.

If you have not been before, make a date in your diary for 23 October when Which Craft are hosting the next Stamp Magic show. The show is held at Doncaster Dome which is really easy to find off the M18 and its not that expensive to get in either.

I wont tell you how much I spent, but I got quite a bit of stash. I went with a list, but only marked 2 items off it. Typical isnt it. I got some card candi to make some really simple cards which I will make when I come back from the doctors later. I have already made a couple which I will upload from the camera later.

So I will go now and be back later.

I thought I would try and make some cards with stamped backing papers that would be quick to make but look quite nice and simple. Sometimes putting loads of stash onto cards makes them look a bit 'busy', well these are very minimalistic.

Beige and browns

I had a bit of time on my hands and had a play today and have come up with a beige and brown card that I thought I would share with you. Its a bit of a combination of various techniques and I am really pleased with the finished article.

For those of you that know me it wont be a surprise that I have used a stamp of a tree. Actually its my favourite tree stamp that I possess. I have stamped it in Rich Cocoa Memento ink and have then used my ink duster to add a bit more colour to the image. I have used Tea Dye Distress in. Used my Martha Stewart leaf punch to punch out the leaves and then used the Rich Cocoa to stamp the veins on the leaves.

Sorry I havent been around much lately.

Unfortunately I have been really busy at work and I am even working at home at night. I just dont seem to have enough hours in the day. Goodie bag card

I went to the Creative Minds Craft Group on Tuesday night. It was my turn to provide the goodie bags for the group to use. We all had identical goodie bags and all managed to make different cards. I normally use Promarkers to colour my images, but this time I thought it would be a good idea to use other pens. The pens we all used were Watercolour pencils.

We had a really good holiday, then went to work for 2 days and then worked on the elections for 3 very long days. I am still trying to catch up with things and have just made a couple of cards that were about overdue.

My first Gift Bag

I went to my craft group, Creative Minds Craft Group and the theme was gift bags made from 12 x 12 sheets of paper. The scoring was the easy part of making the bags. When we got to the side folds there were some not so nice words flying round the hall.

I am still around

I have been away from my blog for about 2 weeks now as I have been so busy at work and at home. I have been 'dipping' in and out a couple of times to make sure that I have not missed anything and have moderated comments that you kind folks have left for me.

Well over at Trimcraft we are running a goodie bag swap with an added challenge at the moment. We have to make up a goodie bag to send to our swap partner. My partner is Anni who lives over in Denmark. Ceej, who is the organiser of the swap has added a challenge into the swap, the person sending the swap is to make a card with the goodies that are sent in the swap and seal the envelope.

So tonight I have sorted out the goodies for my swap and have made the following card which I am going to send to Anni tomorrow.

...trying out the Emboss Resist Technique that Sylvia found on the Whiff of Joy Blog. As I didnt have the right Nesties I have just used my cutter and rounded the corners, but I am quite happy with my result.

I have been a bit creative this morning

I am feeling a bit better this morning and have come up with this card. The flower was inspired by Meiflower. I watched Mei demo the flower at the Hinckley 'Sincerely Yours Papercraft Show' and thought it would look great on a Monochrome card.

Not been around for a few days

I haven't been around for a few days as I have been really busy at work and now I am off ill with a viral infection and sinusitis which is soooo painful. Am on anti-biotics and painkillers and as I am feeling a bit better I thought I must update my blog and share some of my creations from the last week or so.

Had a great day

I know this is not showing what I have been making, but I thought I would share my day with you.

First thing this morning I drove over to Derby to pick up my best friend Sylvia to drive down to Leicester to meet up with Kim and Mary Maclean, who is from Edinburgh. We are all members of a crafters forum called Trimcraft. Mary was down from Edinburgh as her hubby was on a course today and she popped a post on the forum to ask if anyone lived in Leicester and would like to meet up for a coffee.

Me and Sylvia thought it would be nice to go and meet up with Mary and so did Kim. We met at about 10am and had a fantastic day. We had a walk round Leicester town centre and as there was some craft shops we thought it would be rude not to have a look in.

One of the shops Dominoes was running a 3 for 2 offer on everything, so we managed to get some nice stash and managed to save a bit of money aswell. Then we went to a place called Gadsbys and I got a real bargain. I know its last years, but it was worth the money as it was only £5. I got a Christmas Daisy and Dandelion goody bag, which will come in handy to make some lovely christmas cards for the craft fair in November. We also found a haberdashery shop, the Button Boutique (I think) where I managed to get some ribbon at a good price.

So all in all we had a great day and got some bargains to make the day even better. I did take my camera and took some photos, but with my laptop playing up it may take a couple of days before I can upload the photos.

We have been creative and completely overhauled the blog. Its looking fantastic. We have created our own button for you to grab and display on your blog if you want.

I am not being very creative

Contrary to my blog title I have not been all that creative just lately. I have been suffering quite a bit with my back and migraines.

I was driving home from our craft group last night and dont really know how I got home. I felt so ill and just carried on going and hoped for the best. As soon as I got home I laid down on the sofa and dozed for about an hour and then went to bed.

I did make a card at the craft group but dont think its very good so I wont be showing it on here or enter it in any challenges.

Hopefully things will pick up and I will be creative again without feeling ill. When that happens I will be showing off my creations.

Only me again

Its only me again. I have just been looking through some photos and thought I would share this one with you. I had made a birthday card for my grandaughter Abbygail using the Pepper and Friends range and as I was trying to take a photo of it Barney, the younger one of my two Westies, decided that he wanted to be on the photo. He sat very still next to the card and this is what I ended up with

Barney is the naughtier one of the two and Dougal is very laid back and just goes with the flow. I will try and find some photos of the two of them together and share them with you.

Hello and welcome

Hello and welcome to my new blog. I somewhat neglected my last blog and thought it would be easier to set up a new blog then to try and catch up on the old one.

I will do my very very best to keep this one up to date as and when I can, but with work and other things it may not be possible to update every day.

I still do not know how to link things but hopefully I can find a kind teacher that will help me along the way.
