Back from Ally Pally

Hi everyone

I am back from Ally Pally now and have taken today off work to recover and update you all on my weekend.

Well I got up very early Saturday morning to drive to my best friend Sylvias so we could catch the train to London which is what I already told you about in my earlier post.

Alexandra Palace is just stunning and what it must have been like in its hayday is just not imaginable.  It is set in the most fantastic grounds surrounded by parkland and trees.  The weather was sooo kind to us, it allowed us to have a picnic each day provided for us by our friends Lynn and Lelli.  Anni had made a special journey all the way from Denmark and met us there aswell.  We also met up with more friends Christa, Toni, Emily and Lynne .  We had a super time and spent quite a few pennies and pounds.  This is what I have bought (please don't tell hubby as he thinks I have got more than enough craft stash already)

As you can see I bought quite a bit, I didn't buy the westie though, it's Barney he is a right poser and he tries to get into all the photos that I try and take.  I am really pleased with all the stash that I managed to get and have got a few bits that I have not tried before, so you will have to keep your eyes peeled for new creations popping up.

Well all I can do is say thank you to Lynn and Lelli for being such fantastic hosts, keeping us safe and fed and watered and getting us from A to B.  You were real stars and I can't wait to meet up again, hopefully up this way.
